Patrice Torcivia Prusko, Ph.D., is a leader in integrating AI and innovative technologies within higher education, currently serving as the director of Learning Design, Technology and Media at Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE). With over 20 years of experience in designing transformative learning experiences, Dr. Prusko's expertise spans the design, development, and management of online and technology-enhanced courses.
Dr. Prusko has taught across modalities in multiple countries, bringing a global perspective to her pedagogical approach. Her research and presentations focus on AI in education, compassion fatigue, equitable design practices, and global education. Dr. Prusko is a staunch advocate for increasing educational access for women, enabling more communities across the globe to thrive.
Dr. Prusko is past president of the Board of Women in the Enterprise of Science and Technology, co-chair of the University of Texas College of Information Leadership Board, vice-chair of the ACE Women's Network MA Board, founding member of 100 Year Ed Tech Project, and a member of the Harvesting Academic Innovation for Learners Steering Committee. She holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Business Management from Union College, and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from University at Albany.
