Bio:
Shitanshu is a learning and educational technology scientist with over eleven years of experience. He completed his Ph.D. at the EdTech department in IIT Bombay, and then worked with the Computer Science department at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, USA. Before working with UNESCO, he worked with IIT Bombay as an EdTech scientist. His research areas include AI in Education (AIED), Ethics of AIED, Multimodal Learning Analytics, Modelling Cognitive and Metacognitive strategies, Affective Computing, and Technology Enhanced Learning. He takes great satisfaction in spearheading and designing the new FramerSpace, the learning experience platform developed by UNESCO MGIEP that has already served more than 450,000 users.
